Abstract
First, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for inviting me to speak to you tonight on this happy occasion. Second, I'd like to salute you for choosing for your
forum such an important topic, The Role of Higher Education in the Empowerment and Achievements of Arab Women. Third, I am grateful to all the participants
in this conference whose contributions, I am sure, will add significantly to improving the life of women in theArab world, and fourth, I'd like to extend my most sincere gratitude to the organizers for working so hard to make this event most productive and most enjoyable.
