I Could Not Be as Much as Myself: A Woman and the War in Lebanon

Abstract


Francine was a 28-year old single woman, living with her mother and unmarried siblings in a village not far from Beirut. A Greek Orthodox, she was one of seven children. After completing her high school degree, she had taught for three years in a local elementary school before deciding to change careers and work in a financial institution.
